Remember, safety first! CrystaLite has taken the traditional design of the Roof Access Hatch and brought today’s newest safety innovations to the roof. The Roof Hatch is coated with an electrostatically applied, thermally-fused powder coat in high gloss Safety Red finish, meeting Federal Spec. #11105 for safety red warning color. This finish not only allows you to visually locate the hatch from a much greater distance than a normal primer coated hatch, but also alerts anyone on the roof that there is a roof opening nearby. Additionally, with the lid in the open position there is a specially designed visual warning signal alerting you that the hatch is open.
